When it comes to the Stones, "Wild Horses" wins it hands down!
But for a non-Stones song, and because I love Doo-Wop so much, yall might want to give this gem of a Doo-Wop ballad a shot.
The Tymes, "So Much In Love" from 1963.
Ironically, by 1963 Doo-Wop was pretty much on life-support. But this classic went to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
There's just something about this song that moves me, hard to put into words.
But music is a form of art, and isn't art supposed to take the listener or observer or reader to a 'place' that's beyond the boundaries of ordinary human language?
