I know it has been a few days since the Boston show I went to but had to share my night.
The show was, of course, amazing. We were quite drunk, among other things, so we looked like fools I am sure but I danced and danced some more. The vibe I feel at these concerts, Oh my, my nerves are on fire each time. Pure ecstacy. At one point, I was even barefoot as I had gotten blisters and was so wobbly I couldnt manage my heels. Broke one iphone. Lost another while there. Unfortunately, no pictures from the concert. We have not fared well with photography at any of the 3 shows. Oh well. (Dont take many as I would rather watch the show.)
After the show, we were waiting in line to buy some merch, and here comes this lady spinning twirls through the crowd. I nudged my boyfriend and told him I swore it was my birth mother. Then she spots me, screams my name and prances on over. I have some pretty deep animosity towards this woman, but I was so high on the energy it didnt phase me. Small chit chat, she hit on my boyfriend, told me how drop dead gorgeous he is, wants me to send her his band's CD. I hugged her goodbye and then she asks me if I have any heroin. I tell her I lay off the hard stuff, but slip her a joint from my pack. Then she twirls away.
Stayed up for the next 12 hours playing guitar, drinking, singing, dancing until i had to go to the airport.
I dont want this tour to end.
