Toronto Show June 6/2013

Sorry it’s taken me a bit to write a review but I was so busy this weekend and I couldn’t type anything after the show as I was on such a high. It literally took me two days to come down. The show was absolutely fantastic. No words can describe it (as I’m sure you all know). The boys played so well together. The set list will follow but I’ll just point out a few things. Worried about you was the highlight of my night. Mick pulled out a list and said that this was a song most voted by us (I later read people voted on rollingstones.com I believe). Mick’s falsetto was awesome and they all did this one so great (I didn’t cry but was close to it). Mr. Taylor came out on CYHMK and rocked the house (I so love that song and it was played imo the way it should be – with Mr. Taylor)! I was in awe how this song was performed. He came back for Midnight Rambler too. Keith did YGTS and before they make me run. Outstanding!!! Lisa did a fantastic job on GS – that lady sure does have a great voice. The Cawthra Park Chamber Choir of Mississauga, Ontario joined for YCAGWYW and that song sounded magical. This was my best show seeing them yet and my seats were not bad. The wonderful Devil’s Advocate is going to post some of my pics for you to see (thanks very much Sophie). I’ve got some great pics and am going to make a collage for my wall. I found Keith looked serious for a lot of the show but there were times MT came over and they two were hanging out (I got a picture of that but not sure what ones I even sent to DA).

I had a J or two before getting there and so that slowed me down just a little – I had to kick my ass to get into gear. I drove to TO and hopped on the subway. It was 7:50 and I was hoping they would be late (thank God they were). When I finally got there I lined up for some really expensive beers!!! $10 for 1 tallboy (I should make beer for a living, Ronnie). So I grabbed 2 of those and then thought I had better get some souvenirs as I knew it would be slim pickings later. So there I am and have just decided what to buy and was getting it all together when I heard Get off My Cloud. I was like shit, please hurry. So I did miss that song. I made my way down to my seat during IORR and found an usher who showed me my row. Well I start getting through them and ended up in the wrong area. These total fucking assholes started freaking on me and I couldn’t believe it! I was asking what number their seat was so I could find mine and nobody would tell me and I couldn’t hear a damned thing – they were just saying “leave”. Fuck you boys!!! Whatever happened to enjoying the music and helping your brothers and sisters? Not in today’s day, sad to say. I understood it was hot and crowded but I fucking paid a lot for my ticket too. So I kept myself under control and this guy was running off to find security and I was like whatever, good – maybe he can find my fucking seat. So I moved two over and back to this first asshole that had sent me to the wrong place to begin with. These people were taken aback when I got rocking because I was dancing and singing every song! They were like “wholly shit, who is this chick” LOL. Brian, I rocked it loud and I played it proud!!! These people I was standing beside were much nicer than the pricks at the end. I could smell weed everywhere and was so jealous and wished I had brought the one I had in my car.

So I don’t know if it was because I was somewhat sober, the stones were somewhat sober, because I had decent seats or the venue was small but their show was the best I’ve seen (this being number 5). It was probably because of all of those reasons. Here is the setlist:
