This list is so Keith-slanted that to be honest, I couldn't read it to the end. I will later, once my morning coffee has kicked in. But to call PIB a draw??? Gimme a break! If PIB is a draw, then so is "Satisfaction", which you had an issue with earlier this week IIRC.
I don't think that "Not Fade Away" is anything close to a draw either. Brian's harp totally dominates that one. Ditto "I Just Want to Make Love to You".
It's a complete mystery to me why so many Stones fans feel the need to "demonstrate" that Brian wasn't that good, or not that important to the band. Or to keep picking at his weaknesses as a human being, as if he was the only flawed person in the band.
Throughout the 60s, Brian's popularity was equaled only by Mick. Keith was a distant third. The fans loved Brian and understood his importance to the band. What the heck could have happened since his death to have all of this revisited so extensively? Why all the negativity towards Brian? No Jones, no Stones, period. That fact is indisputable (unless it's done with a healthy dose of bad faith).
I'm not even sure which "list" you're referring to in the title of your post. LOL, maybe I should have waited for my morning coffee to kick in.
