I was at a play on Friday night with my lady friend when a friend of ours a few seats away had a seizure. This woman hasn't had one in over 15 years but her meds were changed a few months ago. However, ever time somebody died in this play, a very loud sharp noise occurred that pissed me off and bothered me in my left ear. This woman Sue, and others are convinced that the irritating sound had something to do with her seizure. She was wheeled out of the theatre and after the paramedics were called, she was alright and didn't take the ride to the hospital.
Anyhow, I'm happy to hear that your dad is doing better too!
