Thanks for the "facts" there Scott.
As I was there, and from what I can tell - you weren't - it appears that what I "know" is more than you as to Mick Taylor's mood and appearance at the Oakland show...Not sure why you'd need to argue the FACT that he looked forlorn. The fact is: You don't sit at the guitar tech's desk DURING a show, watching your replacements back UNLESS you have something on your mind.
So, unless you have your own OPINION of how he looked onstage THAT night - because YOU saw it: How happy Mick Taylor might be isn't something you have any insight into...in fact, without seeing anything at all with your own eyes, you have less insight into this than myself.
So - you should have stated: "I THINK Mick Taylor is happy to be there. It is my OPINION - based on not seeing the show in question - that he is happy."
Of course, if you have some inside KNOWLEDGE of Mick Taylor and his happiness - share it. Otherwise, don't state FACT based on nothing more than what you think.
