First, thanks for the video - excellent! That's the best performance of "Bitch" I think I've ever seen live, and it's 100% because of how Dave Grohl played the lead guitar there. He tore the shit out of that!
You know how it goes, we all can't like the same stuff. But for me, Grohl is as talented as any other rock musician of his generation (more so than his late former band leader), he reminds me of the great classic rockers I grew up loving. The only thing I really liked about Nirvana was Grohl's hard hitting drumming, very excellent indeed. It was good to see him drumming again when he played with Paul McCartney a few months back. I also feel he is an excellent guitarist, all you have to do is watch this video to see that.
I thought his performance with the Stones was interesting in that, when he was done playing, he walked right off, seemed to acknowledge Ronnie and maybe Charlie (couldn't tell). But never even looked at Keith, let alone offered a handshake.
Did we watch the same video? After the song ended he and Keith gave each other a big hug, then he and Mick did the same thing, so what do you mean?
I would have to see the interview you talk about, as I don't know of it, but clearly Keith doesn't seem to care at all by watching this video.
