You're wandering into a very interesting area there Scott, an area which was touched on in a thread below i.e. reasons why Taylor left the band. I'm not really at liberty to say what I know, my lips are sealed as it were, so to speak, to coin a phrase. What I can say is that it concerns an 'incident' in the early seventies in a certain gaff in the South of France, and involves dope and said guitars. The people involved were Taylor, Parsons and a doctor S.Hutt who was looking after some of the band, and entourage's 'medical requirements(Country fans may know Hutt by a different name).There were also a couple of shady French types present whose names are not known to me, as well as some Algerian hookers. Of the actual 'incident' itself, as I've indicated, I'm sworn to secrecy. Suffice to say the repercussions from the 'incident' came back several years later to bite Taylor on the arse big time....enter Ronnie! All in all it was a pretty sordid affair. As a matter of interest, Dr.Hutt's old man,a journalist,was the only European that Chairman Mao allowed on the 'Long March'. That of course is in no way relevant to events in the big house in the South of France.
