They do a cover of "Cocaine" which I think is pretty damn good considering that this was basically a jam. The file's perfectly safe to download Keno. Rapidshare is a trusted way to upload and download stuff. The song comes from my personal collection and I give you my word that all you'd get would be some cool music, nothing nasty and harmful for your computer. I'd email it to you but it's almost 9 megs.
I used to have the JJ Cale original on vinyl but I don't know what became of that one. I can't find it in my collection. But you're right in saying that EC pretty much played the song the same way.
What about "Roll Gypsy Roll"? It seems to me to be more of a "cocaine" song than "That Smell":
