Scott, MT told us way back in the late '70s he left because he felt he would die if he stayed in the band. He also was unhappy about not getting writing credits, too. But the bit about his leaving because Rose told him to is not true at all, just an old, false story. She might had suggested it to him, but he didn't leave the Stones on account of her saying that to him.
