So it was your good self who suggested the chant.I thought it was Dano, and I would never threaten bodily harm against someone from the great state of Wisconsin, let alone a man with a bratwurst in one hand, and a bottle of Miller in the other! Anyway, I'll be in a crowd largely made up of Brits and sophisticated Europeans. A "tut" "tut" and a disapproving shake of the head will be more than enough to show ones displeasure at anything so unbecoming as a 'chant' lol......Think you're right, there always seems to be new and younger fans at 'Stones' gigs, and that's a good thing. Again, you're also right that they might not have any idea who Taylor is, so it's good that he's playing because they're about to find out......ticket prices what can I say!? I saw them three times on the 'Bang' tour, the last show being at the O2. I think this time I've had to pay half again what I paid for that , and this one's basically in a field! If you want to see them you just have to pay it I guess. For me now it's not just the show, but everything that goes with it. I'll be meeting up with LYL again, and we'll be staying in Cambridge for four day's which will be fun. I'll get to meet his friends there, and have a look round, see how it compares with Oxford where in the past we've met up( I guess you can refer to us as the 'Oxbridge' set now!). On the day of the gig we'll travel down to London, and I think we are going to lunch at Wyman's place 'Sticky Fingers'. It's looking like SheRat will meet up with us at some point, and who knows, maybe even Talya! I know some guys that we met at a gig in Nijmegan are coming up from Germany. I just wish the big man from the Nederlands could make it!.....Reading through the posts it seems that everyone going to the shows throughout North America are trying to make similar arrangements, meeting up with 'Gassers' and friends and having a big party. That's what it's all about! Expensive? Yes! Worth it? Absolutely! You could always sell your body man! lol
