RE: RE: RE: Not sold out and no MT

>If you made it this far - thanks...I will post some sort of review on Monday.<

I feel you, and yet I'm looking forward to your review on Monday. I hope you and yours have a great time before, during and after the show! As I hope all here going to shows have a great memorable time.

I have been biting my tongue for weeks now, with essentially your thoughts concerning this tour and the greed it so obviously displays.

Glad you said it first about the greed and much more which needed to be said. While I was out on the town tonight I had a conversation with a man about this tour and I said, "Just because you CAN charge what the market bears, does NOT mean you should..."

What is perfectly clear is we love the Stones but the Stones... not only do not love us...but simply think of us as dollar signs. Far more important to the Glimmers than the title of "artists", is the title of, "good businessmen". That is infinitely more important to them than a nod to their fans with a show they know the die hards wanted, (a true reunuion with Mick Taylor and Bill) and reasonable ticket prices during tough economic times.

None of this should really be surprising. For example, Stones albums have been higher in price than other bands dating back to the '70s. The Stones knew they could get away with it. And they got away with it.

Dangling MT out there, in order to charge these ridiculous prices is "legal robbery" and essentially false advertising by Keith. Pure and simple. When I saw the Stones last in Atlantic City I was all but certain it would be my last Stones show, not because I had a bad time...on the contrary I had fun, but because the music performance of everyone but Jagger had deteriorated so over the years, yet the cost of seeing them was dramatically rising? Charge what the market bears if you feel you must, but the market will not bear me this go around. If LA is a true indication, I'm happy to say the core Stones sound about as good as they did their last tour. Nose bleeds seats, however, do not cut it with me, and a decent seat is too damn high to justify... Have these guys learned nothing about being a human being along the path? The answer is both amazing and sad.

I love the music and the chemistry which makes that music unique and so enjoyable. However I do not idolize these guys whatsoever.

>There was a time where meeting Keith would have been a mind blower for me...Now, the only Stone I truly wish I could share a word with is Charlie. The one Stone who has remained consistent in his behavior and personality.<

Yep.
