This may be the worst album title and cover art in the band's history. I sincerely thought it was a joke when I looked at the link on their Facebook page. That image of the gorilla looks like it should be spray painted on a carnival ride, not on a goddamn Rolling Stones compendium.
As for releasing a Greatest Hits Package, I can see WHY they would do that, since 40 Licks is already pretty much outdated and hard to find, and now fails to cover their career span appropriately (some would argue that it failed to, upon its own release).
What I wish they had done, if they felt like just hashing some shit together, is release a bunch of awesome outtakes that span their whole career. I'd pay for those Goats Head Soup outtakes, and even an officially released audio track of Under The Radar. Then maybe I'd feel less repulsed at the stupid, stupid name and ridiculous artwork.
