I should add that An American Werewolf In London was also written by John Landis, that it's probably the greatest screenplay ever written because it's so scary and so fucking funny, that it's special effects are rivaled only by 2001 and John Carpenter's The Thing, that it's actually a Holocaust film, and that the porno flick title See You Next Wednesday (a running joke in lots of Landis' work) comes from a line in 2001.
