I have to disagree. If you take the things in life that you enjoy, I think that even you will agree that isn't true. Perhaps a person in deep depression would agree with this statement, but from reading your posts since the late '90s, I know you don't fall into that category.

Take food for example, I bet most would disagree with you, if not, so many would never be overweight. Same with sex, although many have sex problems sometimes in their life, most would agree while having sex, it feels great, and not like shit. Etc, etc...

Can you actually sit and listen to a Classic Rock station all day without turning it off?

Yes, even if there are many other kinds of music I love to listen to. I listen to classic rock all day long often, in part because it's easy to just turn on the radio and leave it on one station all day, and more often than not, it's a Classic Rock station that I turn on first. If the station has good programming, I will enjoy what I'm hearing all day long. That's how much I enjoy hearing most music in general, and why I countered what you stated about classic rock. I cannot do the same with the new music coming out today, and thanks to my grandkids, I do hear a lot of the new music coming out now. I don't hate it, and it is overall better than what was new music 10 years ago, but still, it sucks compare to classic rock.

Sure, some classic rock sucks, like everything in life, nothing is 100% perfect. But for my own tastes, I would say 90% of classic rock doesn't suck.
