best year for Stones

the best single year for the Stones would be much harder to decide--they had SO many good ones. I guess ultimately I'd have to agree with the '99 poll, however, even though "technically" a lot of the genius of Exile came out of '71. It still has to be '72 because of the summer tour and because they showed (in Jamaica) at the end of that year they could change direction and sound while still remaining brilliant.
