Van Morrison's "Astral Weeks" is sort of a constant, for me. As a matter of fact, I'm working on a big 3' x 3' painting inspired by the album, as I literally stand here with the canvas ready to be worked on right beside me. Wish me luck.

I also relistened to the UK release of Between The Buttons, again. It's an album that, despite a couple of excellent tunes (including the stunning "Back Street Girl"), always feels like a missed opportunity for me, as a follow-up to the on-the-verge-of-perfect "Aftermath."
