I think what makes a frontman great is when they sell the band by way of conviction, control and a touch their own controled self-indulgence. Each great band has a greatfront man that suits the band and helps them stand out. Tyler is probably more on the ball than Roth, who is good of course but can get easily distarcted on stage. I think Stanely of Kiss is good but Tyler is still more in cotnrol of his audience. Actually when I saw ACDC at Sars I was very imrpressed with Brian Johnson. He was funny and very much in control of the audinece; and we are talking about a VERY LARGE audience. I don't think Morison was all that great; he kinda stood around. The movie made him seem more animated than he was I think. Then there is ACDC's other singer Bon Scott, who was very good. I think I'd give it a toss up between Tyler and Johnson from my personal exprience. They both are able to get a lot out of their audeinces, much more than most bands I've seen.
