devilsadvocate, that sounds more than fair! What a life Mick has had. It's almost so unlikely that the Stones even ever became a band. Just happens one morning Mick, carring a bunch of blues LP-s from the States (They had already met as kids, Kieth had it much tougher than Mick growing up) which at that time (1962) were rare in Britain, Kieth see's the LP's and they get to be come good friends growing up just a couple streets apart for a while during freaking war-war-2.(They had to take shelter in tunnels as babies due to the Germans bombing thier neighborhood) I've read a few books and it's amazing how fate works. If you haven't read Kieths "the life" you should. They became pals only because of thier deep pasion for the blues. Thank God they had the same train ride to catch that morning, fate, it was meant to be. They both had great parents. Lot's of love on the homefront. A good read!
