What fun polls!!! I voted for Brian as most underrated Stone. I mean, there are a number of younger Stones fans who don't even know who he was. How more underrated than that can you get? He totally does not get his dues.
I may get a lot of flak for this, but I voted for Keith as most overrated. He is the object of uncritical admiration on the part of too many Stones fans. He gets away with too much stuff that other members of the band get criticized for simple "because he's Keith and we love him". And I'm sorry, but there's no way he deserves the #4 spot on the RS list of greatest guitarists "of all time".
Bon Jovi as most overrated male rocker. Man, was that vote ever satisfying! Axl Rose would have been my second pick, but his band does have a couple of songs I like. Besides, he's now widely seen as a prick and a fool, which seems like a perfectly appropriate rating to me.
Celine Dion as most overrated female. Although I don't see her as a rocker at all. Since she was on the poll, I had to hold my nose and not vote for Madonna.
George Harrison as most underrated Beatle, Paul McCartney as most overrated.
