Well, Bob certainly turned into a guy that just had a knack for sappy ballads and dopey nostalgic anthems, but he was pretty cool up to Live Bullet. Live Bullet was a nice look back at his career, but with a band that was too polished and lost a lot of that great Detroit distinctiveness (which is a midwestern attitude, Cleveland and Pittsburgh bands have it, too). But Ramblin Gambin Man is as great a boast of awesome manliness as Howlin' Wolf or Muddy Waters ever laid down. Need proof? This is one of THE greatest Rock TV things the Internet has ever given us.
