I'm not Jesus, and neither was John, although he was bigger than him.

I don't know if he was bigger that Jesus, I'm not sure what Jesus' height was. But I know John was more popular than Jesus with the kids of the '60s, that's for sure. If I had a choice in meeting Jesus or Lennon, it would not take me a second to think about it, JL would be my choice. He was a real person, where as I can't be sure if Jesus was a real person or not. The older I get, I feel more and more sure that Jesus never really lived, I think he was just made up by people years ago who wanted to control others with a new religion. Kinda like in the way Joseph Smith made up his religion many many years later. John said it best in his song about God:

but for myself... I do believe in Elvis, I do believe in Zimmerman, I do believe in Beatles (and Stones), and I do believe in me and mine - and you Gassers, too! That's reality!
