For week 675 of the Stones poll, we ask: Do you think the Stones will ever tour again? . Yes, this question has been asked for years now, but with events that have taken place this year – that being it’s their 50th anniversary and no tour, well many who said they would never stop touring, are perhaps thinking they might have been wrong in making such a statement.
To let us know how you feel on this, well you can reply below in the thread, but more important, do vote in this poll. Here is the link to the voting booth: Stones Weekly Poll.
In last week’s Stones poll we asked: How much of a Stones fan are you?. We pretty much ran the same question for all 3 weekly polls last week. For this Stones poll, 71.7% of the voters said that yes, they were a “hard-nosed, freak fan, a true Stones junkie”, including 99.9% of the Gassers! Okay, I don’t really have a tally on how just us Gassers voted, I just got a feeling that we’re all junkie Stones fans!

Let’s move on over to the Classic Rock Poll now, where we enter week 317, and ask: What is the best Classic Rock Song about crying? (Part 3 of 3). Back to this question after we took a week off from asking it. We have the top 10 songs picked from the first two parts each, going up against each other, and because of ties, that means there will be 21 songs to choose from in Part 3.

In last week’s Rock Poll, we asked: How much of a Classic Rock fan are you? . The final results to this poll were almost identical to what we saw in the final results to the Stones poll of the same question. 71.8% of the voters said that Classic Rock was their main music.

Now over to the Beatles weekly poll, where it’s week 70, and this week’s question is: Would The Beatles have been as successful without George Martin or Brian Epstien? You will have 4 choices to vote on.
I think this question isn’t gonna be as easy to answer as you might think after you first read it. George Martin was of course their producer, while Brian Epstien was their manager. Now I think all would agree the Fabs needed help from both of these guys (or somebody) to get started, but that isn’t the question. The Beatles would have made it big anyway; the question is asking, just how successful would they had been on their own with no outside help from these two. Was their talent so great that they could had done it all on their own?

In last week’s Beatle poll, the question was: How much of a Beatles fan are you? This poll questions turned out being the only one of the 3 last week which had a close vote, in fact, it ended in a tie for the top pick, with “I'm your average Beatle fan.”, and “ I'm a hard-nosed fan, a true freak fan of the Beatles!” both receiving 47.4% of the vote. I’ll stick my neck out and say because of all the Stones freaks from Gasland voting in this poll, who are also Fab fans but maybe not Beatle freak-fans, that was why the vote was close in this poll. As the week went on, most of the people voting were going with the “Beatle freak fan” vote option.

Thanks to all of you who vote each week in all three of our weekly polls!
