Sorry to hear of your misfortune, HR. A friend of mine here locally just lost his job in the same fashion a week ago. While it is arguably an employer's business if an employee is high on THC at the time he is performing his job duties, it sure as hell is not an employer's business if an employee gets high from THC during his own time after work.
Until a test can distinguish the difference, THC should not be among the drugs tested for regarding employment in my opinion.
I've found that drinking a gallon of water or so prior to a drug test and pissing about 3 times before the "Big Piss" after saturating my bladder with H2O, gives me a negative, but diluted drug test result.
If in the court system a "diluted" result will bear consequences. In the business world it does not...
