Andy Griffith

It's amazing how good his show was. I could live without Matlock (too much like Barnaby Jones for me), but The Andy Griffith Show was brilliant. And it was all because of him, he decided who would be on it, what scripts would go - everything came down to him. He left a hell of a legacy, and from all accounts it appears he was a genuinely terrific guy.
