Well, I know that he didn't die because he was "too messed up", I know it wasn't any accident. He was murdered, and the pig who killed him confessed to doing it. Had Brian been a straight, clean-cut man of the establishment, the British police would not have conducted and ended their sloppy investigation in the way they did. They wanted it known that he died from a "misadventure" fueled by drugs, so that an example could be made from his death as to how right they were in repeatedly busting him and other rockers of the time. Those police were as much pigs as the guy who killed him.
43 years ago, wow, I recall exactly what I was doing when I heard the news, be it the next day, since back then news traveled much slower. Us Stones fans miss you BJ, and we always will!
