Well, Gassers, I'M in Memphis and our high is expected to reach 105 but my car temp. button already say's 106 degrees. July 1rst and me and my brother went for a ride to the river (Greg lives in hot Atlanta) as we always do when he comes home. We were talking about when we were much younger hitting the century mark might happen once a summer. The times are a changing. We both can't stand hot, sweaty & muggy weather. The heat just drags me down, makes me very lathargic! We got 3 & a half more months of this brutal heat and I'M ALREADY SICK OF IT!! I SAW ON CNN THE COLORODO AREA and it looked like a burning inferno, neihborhood, one after the other, mountain after mountain just toasted, sure hope there some reliefe in sight because it looked surreal. There's fires all over the west and it's just an awful situation. Props to ALL the workers that try and contain these fires. Our prayers are with ALL OF YOU!!
