I gave the SW cover a 3. Ugly and boring is how I'd describe it. That's my lowest rating for the Stones. Anything lower than that is reserved for artists and bands I don't like.
While My Guitar Gently Weeps in the rock poll. I'm surprised to see the Skynyrd song, Cry For The Bad Man on the list. It may have the word "cry" in the title, but it was written about promoter Alan Walden, whom RVZ didn't think very highly of, and when you listen the lyrics they really paint an unflattering portrait. RVZ later changed his mind about the man and apologized to him.
Dr Winston O'Boogie in the Beatles poll. I always thought that nickname was a riot. Funny to see the "Walrus" nickname applied to both John and Paul. LOL.
