I suspect he smokes less than he appears to...I've read before, that 1 in 4 people have a gene that enables them to smoke and be uneffected...by cancer.. I've also heard there is someting in apples that protects your lungs if you smoke; maybey he eats alot of apples. Ironically, some other people get lung cancer just brething in poor air quailty and second hand smoke. Non of this protects him from a debilatating disease like C.O.P. though, which my father has from being a heavy smoker, and now is left unbale to do many things as the sponge in your lungs becomes hard and does not flex.
