Sorry, I screwed up posting placement and FPM's quote evaporated into cyberspace.

Trying again: "Mick's last few public appearances have been incendiary, Woody actually kicked booze and is playing great, Charlie's bringing his jazz band to NYC...I just hope Keith can rise to the occasion too. If he does, it will be a thing of power and beauty."

I completely agree with FPM.

And Steve: YES. When Mick sang The Last Time on SNL, it wasn't just me who thought, damn, he's singing to the other Stones. He really means it. His voice had that EDGE, you know what I mean? I swear he was singing to the band, and almost defiantly blasting out THE QUESTION to the WHOLE DAMN WORLD -- that's how it hit me, hard.
