I wasn't gonna post tonight, had a long day today and got talked into working the phones tomorrow for XM radio's 800 line. So I was just checking out Gasland to make sure all was okay, and I saw your post. TM, it's funny how you just covered something I was talking about to a friend the other day. How sex is nothing more than getting high, as is eating junk food, and other stuff like that. Really, if a person is against drinking or smoking weed because they are against getting high, well, if they eat junk food or have sex - they are still getting high. Guess those in AA should stop doing that other stuff too! Only difference is having sex can kill ya if you don't know who you're having sex with, and eating junk food will kill ya if you eat too much of it, but weed will never kill you, no matter how much you use it... The latest poll taken in Colorado for Amendment 64 (which would make all marijuana use legal, not just medical weed), taken by Rasmussen polls, claims that 61% of likely voters in Colorado favor legalizing marijuana and will vote for the Amendment. I find this hard to believe, I know it's closer than that, and I expect it will lose by a close vote, after the feds do something to make sure it fails, even if the votes are there, it will not pass. I just don't trust our government at all on this. I believe claiming that 61% of the voters will vote yes is a lie and they are hoping this lie will keep some of the lazy tokers home on election day, since the less of them who vote, the more likely this amendment will fail. Still, I'm 100% legal anyway (not counting the Fed law), and it's been helping me cope with the arthritis in my hands that's been killing me for the last few weeks. Still, I would like to see this pass so I don't have to pay $95 a year (plus the cost of a doctors visit, too) for a stupid licence that allows me to use it legally. But yeah, us humans don't just get high to feel good, we also get high to feel better when we're sick.
