okay, this is weird. In the last month, I have had two dreams about Keith, and I have NEVER dreamt about Keith or the Stones before. Both times I woke up and was like "Holy shit, is he dead?" cause why the hell else would I startt dreaming about him after all this time? I wrote a haiku about the second dream:
Crazy Ass Pre-dawn Dream In The Tenderloin
Keith Richards plays show
at the Wharf. A benefit?
James Brown? In his bed,
he says: "Anita,
both her poles were male.
So are yours." Emphysetic laugh.
"And sometimes, I just
wanna turn into
you." Well? I took those kisses.
They melted my toes.
Gig check-in; four bands
to go. This time, I am pressed
lengthwise, short of breath.
No breath. Why am I
clinging to this glass of wine?
He grabs the bottle.
"I always go for
a pre-show quickie." Of course.
Fell swoop move, legs up.
In his arms. Bridal.
Chills. Who does that anymore?
Crackheads woke me up.
