ZZ Top - Consumption

One of the 4 songs being released on I-tunes, June 5th. It's a pretty gritty, med-temp, blues tune with an oldschool zz top style riff and structure, but drenched in modern-day production. The drums sound like they were miced with overheads only and not close up; which gives the song a live feel. Billy's voice has become that of an old bluesmen which always to me sounds better when Dusty backs him as he does in the doubled up decsending vocal lines: "my hand on the bottle makes me who I wanna be". Third listen has me familiar with the song and really digging it.
