I never said it was right.
I know you didn't, I'm just commenting on what you wrote.
You don't seem to think very highly of George as a musician.
Depends on what you mean by that. He was a good guitar player, but he owed everything to Lennon and McCartney. Unlike Keith Richards, who owed his fame to Jagger and Jones, Richards still would had made it in Rock music without them, not anywhere as big, but I think we still would had at least known who he was in the '60s. With Harrison, I don't think that would had been the case had he not known McCartney. He wasn't a great lead guitarist, but he did fill the role in the band, although Lennon and McCartney were both as good and in some ways, even better guitarists than he. The two of them could had played all of the instruments in the Beatles and been the only regular members and they would had been just as popular and great with out the other two.
As far as being a person goes, George was the best of the four Beatles - by far. He pretty much did as he said, whereas Lennon wanted to be that way but wasn't always living up to his word (he had some punk in him that got in his way at times, no question). All 4 Beatles were hippies, yes, but the true pure hippie in the Beatles was George. So yes, I do think highly of him, but mainly as a great human being, overall.
