I gave the SG cover a 6, and that was generous. I had the album with the original cover that was pulled, and I never really cared for it. The music inside is SOOOOO much cooler than the indifferent cover outside. Meh!
Those car songs are wildly different from one another. It was a tough choice, but I picked "Brand New Cadillac" by the Clash. Awesome song, perhaps my favourite by the Clash.
George Harrison sure wrote some great songs! My pick was "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", but I could easily have gone for "Taxman" or "Think For Yourself" or "For You Blue". George also wrote a couple of duds. Is there anyone out there who thinks of "Within You Without You" as a great song?
Ringo... I was always rather irritated by "Don't Pass Me By" but I think "Octopus's Garden" is charming, so that was my pick.
3rd poll... I'm waiting until a little later to play that Christmas song, which I may have heard before but don't remember. I'm not overly impressed with any of the other entries. Nanker Phelge apparently had the upper hand over the Beatles (collectively) when it came to song writing, Ronnie.
