You'd be surprised, there's a lot of people that think the first generation cd's are the best sounding. Some of them were sourced from obviously inferior sources, but they weren't nearly as compressed and some of them are pretty good. Those original Doors and Steely Dan disks sound like shit, though. It's amazing how bad those are.
On Some Girls it's not only tracked differently, which was common on 8 tracks, there's different versions of Miss You and Beast of Burden on it.
