1st 8-tracks: My grandfather let me buy THREE of them for my birthday. Must've been my 15th. I got:

Chicago IX (Greatest Hits --- the LP with the painters scaffold shot on the front cover)

Earth, Wind and Fire -- I forget the name of the album, but I seem to remember the 8-track had a minimilistic gold front.

Pink Floyd -- Wish You Were Here

1st CD -- Pink Floyd Dark Side (me and about 10 million other folks probably)
