that's very tough but here we go
1rst LP: STICKY FINGERS
1RST LP: I cut in half with an ax: "Frampton comes Alive"
1RST/8TRACK: BILLION DOLLAR BABIES
1RST/CASSETTE: HUMBLE PIE
1rst CD: Let it Bleed
I HAVE 327 CD's, All the Stones, Beatles, Led Zepplin: most of THE WHO, LOU REED, MOTT THE HOOPLE, DAVID BOWIE, STEELY DAN, THE KINKS, PINK FLOYD, T-REX just to name some of my favorites!! When I graduated from high school (1976) I DROVE TO THE Denver Rockies and camped in the Rocky Mt.s--- in a beat up green maverick and had to tie my passenger door shut with some wire. I made a huge mistake by driving to "manitude(sp.) Springs" and saw my first snow peaked MT. AT APROX. 17,200 FT.-- MY DUMB ASS, HEEDED BY MANY TRAVELING FOLKS SAID DON'T DO IT, YOU'LL GET SNAKE BIT OR MAULED BY A GRIZZLY, YOUNG, DUMB AND FULL OF CUM I STARTED MY ILL-FATED CLIMB, I wanted to camp on top of that mt. in the snow. VERY LONG STORY SHORT, I hiked ALL DAY PASSING SEVERAL GOLD MINES WITH LITTLE TRAIN TRACKS THAT WENT WAY DEEP IN THE mt. with freezing cold air blowing out & after going in about 50 yards I HEARS SHSHSHSHSHSH, OHHH SHIT, RATTLE-SNAKES AND THERE MUST BE HUNDREDS OF THEM!! So the sun was fading, I was starving and in a full BLOWN PANIC STARTED RUNNING DOWN THAT MT. FREAKING OUT BIGTIME!! I MADE A FIRE BUT NEVER ROLLED OUT MY SLEEPING BAG IN FEAR OF A HUGE RATTLESNAKE WANTING TO SHARE MY SLEEPING BAG! I found a big stick to protect myself and stood up all night(at least I came very well equiped, the sunrise was beautiful!) waiting for the sun to come up. By the grace of God I MADE IT BACK TO MY Maverick and drove to Denver to get a hotel and a good night rest. I spent all afternoon picking stickers out of my legs! Yea, this little rebel got humbled and qiuck, my old 8-track played "Neil Youngs After The Gold Rush" for many, many, many hours!! Thank you Lord, Thank you Jesus! 'Cause when your downright disgusted and life ain't woth a dime, find a redroof and leave your troubles behind, and when your down on your luck surrouded by rattlesnakes, find a big stick, and pray and pray!!!!!! A true story from a skinny 18 yr. old pup learning lifes lessons. Steve Gross
