are you really saying that U2 and the velvet underground should not be in the HOF???
Where the hell in this thread did I say that? I reported that they were in 9th and 10th place in our poll results. That was all I wrote.
if not, my apologies...i misread what you wrote.

But since you brought them up, U2 should be in even if I got sick of them after their first two or so LPs were out. The Edge sounds the same on every damn song and that drives me nuts.
As far as the Velvet Underground, I'm a big fan of Lou Reed, but not the VU. That band was nothing without him! No, VU was not Reed's backup band, but they might as well been and only should be in the Hall as Reed's band.
