I mostly agree with 2000 man's view on the Hall of Fame. There are too many 2nd and 3rd rate artist in there. It should be for the best of the best and that's it. A band like Gun's N Roses should not be in the hall of fame, nor should the Black Crows; too derivative and late in the game. I can expect some metal bands in there: Black Sabbath and Metallica. Not bands like Iron Maiden or even Motely Crue, Ratt, or Megadeath. I suppose Kiss is a band that should almost be in there due to their pop culture releavence in the 70s. Plus they did have some cool tunes, but they are more 2nd rate artist than first. I probably would allow them in. I would also let the Sex Pistols in for the same reasons 2000 man would.
We should have a Gasser's Rock'n Roll Hall of fame were we vote for our own inductees every week.
