right, i was thinking the lineage would be jazz-->jump-->swing
Wiki is funny and always interesting, but it is always good to note to take the info there with a grain or two. I have some friends who moderate the lefty pages and there's ALL sortsa arguments about perspective la la la la, as one can imgaine. I would bet you the reason the blues bros is left out is because the person who wrote the page is either: a) too young to remember or; b) too cool to even think of something so "mainstream."
