The big pitch for the usefulness of the passports aka the enhanced drivers liscenses was the promise of speedy trips through customs betwenn the us and canada.Of course the lines and wait times are longer than ever.It was a shameless cash grab made under the guise of increased home security.If i did not love going to canadas ballet and shopping in toronto id stay out of there,the long lines are a joke and the custums agents like most cops are arrogant and obnoxious in many cases.There are alot of great people in canada though.
