I should note that Rush, CCR, and the Doors are very special to me; they were the first bands I ever got into. Likewise, Dylan, Pink Floyd, and the Beatles are all top-notch in my "personal pantheon."

I have learned to love a lot of stuff and I intend to learn more, based on some of your suggestions. For some reason, I never got into van-halen, ac/dc, kiss, zz top, although I did listen to boston and reo speedwagon a lot for a while. And while jazz is no "techno" or "rap" I haven't got into it yet either. But I want to, where should I start?
