Brian era in the Stones poll. Nice to see it holding its own against the Mick T years at the moment. I doubt it will last though. I love the Mick T years too, but the Brian era is what turned me into a Stones fan and I've remained loyal to it ever since.
That Smell in the rock poll. Although that entire album was meant as the beginning of a new and even greater era of the band, not an end. This song has perhaps the greatest opening lines of any song I know: 11 words was all RVZ needed to tell the story of a car accident one of the band members was involved in. By all accounts he was getting really tired of these repeated antics.
I have no clue yet how I'm going to vote in the Beatles poll. Will have to think about this one some more.
