Ok, we may be getting side-tracked now, but this truly disgusted me.
Did you see Larry King's last interview with George W Bush just before his presidency ended? Oh, it was doosey! I'm relying on memory, but this is how it happened:
King: Do you think Bin Laden will ever be brought to justice?
Bush: Oh yea, Bin Laden will be brought to justice.
King: Have we ever been close?
Ok, Larry King was asking whether we've ever been close to bringing the nation's most wanted man to justice. Bush (who should be the one who should know wether we've been close) could have responded with: "Well, back in 2003, when we were converging on Tora Bora..." or "I don't want to go into details because it could jepordize current operations..." What did we get as an answer?
Bush: I don't know, maybe
"I don't know, maybe." Are you shitting me? You're the fucking president, you're being payed to lie to me, to make me feel safe, and the best you can come up with is "I don't know, maybe."
Pull my fucking leg, tell me some story. Tell me that we had Bin Laden 2 weeks ago but we decided to shoot him in the dick, and let him go for laughs. Tell me something, don't tell me "I don't know, maybe."
