So it sounds like the film editors worked with several run-throughs of the song, taking the original first half and the best second half of "A Quick One"? I never knew that, but it made for a stunning onscreen performance. I saw them perform this one earlier that year in concert at the Shrine Expo in L.A. It was an even longer version, and they nailed it. The entire show consisting of two sets was incredible, although thinking back I wish Pete hadn't smashed up his gorgeous sunburst pre-CBS Strat that night.
