Now... now... LYL, you must realize that even responding to this thread could be perceived in a court of law as me having knowledge as to the location of Jimmy and therefore guilty of obstruction of justice and interfering with an ongoing investigation. While I have no trouble dealing with the local authorities with their pesky search warrants and petty harassments, the Feds are a whole different story. Even though I understand that their incarceration facilities are top notch, I would prefer not to be in the line of inmates waiting for a shower.
How could anyone expect me to remember what I was doing that warm Wednesday in July of 1975, let alone remember that I worked with heavy equipment? Or how could I even be expected to know I was working that summer driving an earth mover 8 hours a day building a ski mountain where once stood a hill? I do remember working for these people for years doing all sorts of tasks. The silent ownership of this imaginary place had crooked noses and names that ended in vowels. A google search of the Detroit criminal element in 1975 and their connection to Jimmy would probably include the man who paid my wages.
Was it only 20 miles from where Jimmy was last seen? I can't remember. Was there hundreds of feet of earth moved on my cigarette break? Couldn't say for sure, might have been stoned. Did I receive a bonus that summer? OH, OH ... now the IRS is looking at me funny. I think it best for me not to comment as to the whereabouts of Mr. Hoffa.
I do know this after years in the construction trade, decaying bodies make for crumbling concrete foundations. The earth is much more forgiving.
