That's a good write-up. Hopefully that helps the book sell more copies.
Yes, that is exactly what helps sell more copies, and one of the reasons why after a great start, sales half died, since other than 10 plus reviews (all positive) at Amazon.com (thanks to those who wrote them up!), that has been it, and the lack of any advertisement of the book is what is holding up sales. I used to tell people years ago when I was a salesman, that if they didn't advertise their goods, even if they had the best product in the world, it would not sell. Because of lack of funds, after way too much money was pumped into getting this book released, I could only send out 13 books to reviewers, since the cost to send out books was too high (not my option, reviews are priceless and sell more copies, but it wasn't my money to spend)! You can expect about one review written for every 20 books you send out, so the fact we got one review out of 13, I guess that is a good thing.
I also learn last week one of the biggest book distributors in Europe will start to push my book over there in the next few weeks - for free! From what my main US distributor has told me, they only do that for so many books for free - the ones they read and like, so that makes me feel good to know that just about everybody who has read my book does like it, but it kills me that I more than likely will never see a dime from its sales, because nothing was spent to sell it. Oh well, at least it is liked - and got published! I am thankful for that!
