Yes Keno I was wrong to say that NY is a champ - you got me there I got caught up with the win, I was wrong and you are right.
I got caught up in the win too.... the thought of that team winning even just one game makes me sick. We are actually both half correct. Half of NY does have something to celebrate, including yourself, so good for you.
But I do not feel that the Yankees make NY look bad, we can disagree on that one.
Now on that one I know I'm correct, and believe me, I live far from NYC, so I know how those who don't live there think of them. The Yankees do not make NYC look good to most outsiders.
overpaid steroid freaks - I am not sure where to go on
that one - the Yankees are the only team with overpaid steroid freaks? What about Manny and Big Papi?????
That was just a cheap shot on my part. Most of baseball seems to be, just another reason why this game that the owners try to pass off as being so clean - isn't. There is just so much phoniness to baseball, and the Yankees lead the way in that department.
And the Mets are losers well just b/c they are losers no matter where they might play they are losers
When any team loses as many players as they did this past year, well, any team would lose like they did.
Sorry, please don't take my outrage personally. I never get in the way of another sport team's championship celebration - no matter how much I don't like them - except for the Yankees. I rather see Al Davis' team win 10 Super Bowls in a row than see the Yankees win just one WS. There might be a lot of things I dislike in this world, but there are few things I plain out hate and no question the Yankees are one of those things. The Yankees are so sickening that they bring out the worst in me.
