Actually it is the backing track that was used for the Chris Farlowe (??) version, which was actually a top 10 hit...excuse me...No. 1 hit in the UK, so it is very probably what ever studio musicians Andrew hired for the day.... about half of Metamorphosis is like that, btw, being a LOT of Mick/Keith demos.
